Description
Description
The FA3 stainless steel pump flexible is a flanged connector designed to reduce vibration and noise transfer from plant into connected pipework. Stainless steel is used across the wetted components, making the FA3 suitable for specified high-temperature and potable-water applications.
FA3 flanged stainless steel flexible connector
The assembly combines 316 stainless-steel convolutions, internal sleeve and connecting spool with carbon-steel PN16 flanges and tie rods. Select the nominal bore and matching copper size shown in the product options.
Available sizes
- 32nb / 35cu, 40nb / 42cu and 50nb / 54cu
- 65nb / 67cu, 80nb / 76cu and 100nb / 108cu
- 125nb / 133cu, 150nb / 159cu and 200nb
Key specification
- Working pressure: up to 16 bar, subject to the application.
- Temperature: suitable for systems up to 200°C, subject to the application.
- Wetted components: 316 stainless-steel convolutions, internal sleeve and connecting spool.
- Connections: carbon-steel PN16 Van Stone flanges with stainless-steel facings.
- Installed length: 150mm for the listed sizes.
Application guidance
- Suitable for specified potable-water, high-temperature water and compatible service applications.
- Do not install with torsional loading or twist in the flexible section.
- Confirm fluid compatibility, pressure, temperature, flange drilling and movement requirements before ordering.
