Tecsound 50 and 100 acoustic membrane rolls
Tecsound is a dense, flexible acoustic membrane used within suitable wall, floor, ceiling and metal-sheet constructions. The two live options differ in mass designation, thickness and roll dimensions.
Available options
- Tecsound 50 / 5kg: 6m x 1.2m roll, nominal area 7.2m².
- Tecsound 100 / 10kg: 4m x 1.2m roll, nominal area 4.8m².
Typical applications
- Suitable layered plasterboard wall and ceiling systems.
- Compatible floor and roof acoustic constructions.
- Damping suitable metal sheets, ducts and enclosures.
- Composite sound-control systems designed around a dense membrane.
System design and installation
Acoustic performance depends on the complete construction, junctions, fixings, cavities and installation quality; a membrane roll alone does not guarantee a particular decibel reduction. Confirm the Tecsound grade, substrate, fixing or adhesive method, seam treatment, fire requirement and target construction against the current technical data.
