Description
Densofil is a cold-applied, mouldable petrolatum compound containing cellular polymer beads and flow-control additives. It is used to build a smooth profile around irregular fittings before a compatible Denso anti-corrosion tape system is applied.

Manufacturer-described uses
- Filling cavities, angles and spaces around bolt heads
- Profiling around valves, flanges and irregular pipe fittings
- Creating a contour that can be wrapped without bridges or voids
- Use with the specified primer and compatible Denso, Densopol or Densoclad tape system
Application conditions
- Application temperature: 0°C to 45°C.
- Service temperature: up to 75°C.
- Preparation: surfaces must be clean, dry and dust-free; follow the selected system instructions.
Densofil is a system component, not a stand-alone corrosion coating or universal thermal insulation. Confirm primer, tape, thickness, compatibility and service conditions before use.
