Description

Denso petrolatum tape for corrosion protection

Denso Tape is a flexible petrolatum-impregnated wrapping tape used to protect suitable metal pipework, fittings and irregular components against moisture and corrosion. The tape can be moulded around bends, joints and detailed shapes during installation.

Installation guidance

Remove loose contamination and prepare the surface in accordance with the current Denso system instructions. Apply the required overlap and mould the tape closely around the substrate without trapped voids. Confirm surface preparation, primer, overlap, exposure and overwrap requirements against the current product data and project specification.
